Mountain Pacific Bancorp, Inc. Announces Second Quarter 2026 Results

Mountain Pacific Bancorp, Inc. (OTCPK: MPCB), (“Mountain Pacific”) or the (“Company”), the holding company for Mountain Pacific Bank (the “Bank”), reported net income before taxes of $4.0 million for the second quarter of 2026 and $7.8 million year to date. All results are unaudited.

Mountain Pacific’s second quarter of 2026 operating results reflected the following highlights compared to the first quarter of 2026 and the second quarter of 2025:

  • Net Interest Income was $9.3 million compared to $8.7 million in Q1 2026 and $8.0 million in Q2 2025.

  • Non-Interest Income was $1.7 million compared to $1.4 million in Q1 2026 and $1.4 million in Q2 2025.

  • Non-Interest Expense was $6.5 million compared to $5.7 million in Q1 2026 and $5.5 million in Q2 2025.

The Company’s loan portfolio ended the period at $748.5 million. This represented growth in the loan portfolio of $14.9 million over the prior quarter. Total deposits on June 30, 2026, were $706.5 million which is an increase of $27.4 million from March 31, 2026. The Bank ended the period with $80.0 million in FHLB borrowings. “We strive to be the Bank of Choice in the communities we serve and this strategy continues to result in excellent growth and financial performance,” stated Mark Duffy, President.

Credit quality and portfolio performance both remain good, and the bank continues to fund the allowance for credit losses to withstand any downturn in the economy. The allowance was $14.5 million at quarter-end, an increase of $462K from March 31, 2026.

Second Quarter 2026 Financial Highlights:

  • Return on average assets (“ROAA”) before tax was 1.80% and return on average equity (“ROAE”) before tax was 17.22% for the second quarter 2026.

  • Net interest margin (“NIM”) was 4.30% for the second quarter of 2026, a decrease from 4.34% in the first quarter of 2026.

  • Provision for credit losses for the second quarter of 2026 was $463K.

  • Total loans grew by $14.9 million to $748.5 million on June 30th, 2026, compared to $733.6 million on March 31, 2026.

  • Total deposits grew $27.4 million to $706.5 million at quarter end June 30th, 2026, compared to $679.1 million on March 31, 2026. Core deposits represented 59% of total deposits, with non-interest-bearing deposits representing 19% of total deposits on June 30, 2026.

On June 30, 2026, Mountain Pacific Bank continued to exceed regulatory well-capitalized requirements with a leverage ratio of 11.5% and a total risk-based capital ratio of 14.4%.
