Local Matters

Started by 17 local business and outstanding community leaders, Mountain Pacific Bank is a Community Bank dedicated to serving Whatcom, Skagit, Snohomish, and King Counties. Keeping it local truly matters to us. That’s why we are invested in and dedicated to our communities. Our Board, Management and Staff are involved in local organizations, serving on local boards and supporting local events and activities.

Community Reinvestment Act

The Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) encourages banks to support the credit needs of the communities in which they operate, particularly in low-and-moderate-income neighborhoods. The CRA provides a framework for how banks engage with their community through lending, service, and investment activities.

Mountain Pacific Bank is proud to support the community through CRA initiatives.

  • For instance, it offers lending options with the Small Business Administration, the Washington State Linked Deposit Program for eligible minority and women-owned businesses, and programs for first-time or low-and-moderate-income homebuyers.
  • Moreover, the bank promotes employee commitment to volunteer service activities, including serving on boards and committees of local organizations and providing financial education to community members.
  • It also invests in local and state programs that help promote affordable housing or economic development in underserved communities, including charitable contributions to local nonprofit organizations.

Mountain Pacific Bank maintains a CRA Public File available for inspection. The information is current as of April 1st each year.

If you have any questions or would like a physical copy of the CRA Public File, please contact us. We may charge a reasonable fee for the cost of copying and mailing, if applicable.
