Cash Management is a more robust version of our online banking product. It gives business customers the ability to set up users who are not signers on your business account with access to view transaction histories, statements, initiate funds transfers, and process business bill payments. Outgoing wire transfer initiation and ACH Origination can also be added on. These options allow users to submit wire transfers online, plus create ACH files such as payroll, EFTPS tax services, payments, and collections.
Access Options
Users can be set up with full access, view only access, or dual approval access. An example of dual approval access would be your bookkeeper creating an ACH Payroll file and you approving the file.

How it Works
We provide you with a scanner and help you complete the set-up process in person or over the phone. Each user will have a unique log on, and the system offers several options for enhanced security and dual approval. The application gives you the ability to search the checks you have deposit and pull of images of the items.
There are numerous options for customization fields so that your deposit includes the information that is relevant to you:
- Account number
- Day/Month
- Invoice number
- Customer Name
- Customer ID number
Mobile Deposit
Eliminate unnecessary trips to the bank and make deposits when it is convenient for you. Our Mobile Deposit service allows you to conveniently deposit checks into your Mountain Pacific Bank account right from your phone -anytime, anywhere. With Mobile Deposit you will be able to capture images of checks and submit them to the bank electronically. You will have peace of mind your checks are deposited quickly and safely through our secure mobile app and best of all its FREE.
Mobile Deposit is available to consumer accounts and currently, business accounts are not eligible.

Positive Pay
Mountain Pacific Bank’s Positive Pay service* is an online tool that helps you to safeguard your business account(s) against check and/or ACH fraud by adding another layer of validation when items try to post.
What are the benefits of Positive Pay?
- This widely used fraud detection tool helps identify checks and/or ACH items you didn’t authorize and gives you control to stop them from going through.
- Financial losses associated with unauthorized payments, as well as the disruption of operations following a fraud incident, are reduced.
- You can securely log into Positive Pay to review exception items and decide whether to pay or return them from any device that connects to the internet.
- No additional software is required to use Positive Pay. All you need is an internet connection and login credentials to get started.
How it Works
Customers go to the Positive Pay website where they input information for checks and/or ACH items that have been issued or authorized. When the item comes through, the system knows it’s valid if there is a record on file for a check or ACH item. If an item comes through and the information hasn’t been inputted for it, an email is sent to notify the customer. The customer then reviews the exception item and sets it to Return or to Pay.
Processing Cutoff Times
Customers have until 10:00 AM each morning to review and update any exception items they may have. We process Monday thru Friday with the exception of holidays.
Check Positive Pay: With Check Positive Pay, Mountain Pacific Bank will begin validating any checks presented for payment from your account against the check data you have entered into Positive Pay beforehand, such as the check number, issue date, account number, or dollar amount. If the information on the presented item doesn’t match, the check will un-post and you will be notified of an exception item to review.
